It’s been a week since our 2025 AGM and Community Health & Wellbeing Awards, and what a night it was!
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating the people and organisations making Tarporley a healthier, happier place to live. A special thank you goes to Experience Tarporley for co-sponsoring the event, and to all of our generous award sponsors.
Guests were greeted with welcome drinks and delicious canapés from The Swan Hotel in Tarporley, setting the perfect tone for an evening of celebration and community spirit.
Couldn’t make it on the night? Don’t worry – here’s your full recap of the highlights!

Our Big Listening Event last year gave the Tarporley community a voice in shaping local health and wellbeing priorities. From your feedback, four key themes emerged:
Mental HealthFitness & WellbeingDementia & Carer SupportHealth Screenings
We also recognised the ongoing impact of the Vintage Charity Shop, which helps us fund so many of these initiatives across the community.
These themes inspired the first-ever Community Health & Wellbeing Awards, created to celebrate the individuals and organisations who go the extra mile to support local wellbeing.
While we could only select a few winners, we want to acknowledge everyone in Tarporley doing incredible work – to us, you’re all winners.
Our awards were presented in two parts: one celebrating our health and wellbeing initiatives, and the other recognising community spirit. A big thank you to our patron, Martin Beaumont, for doing a fantastic job as Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
