Purple Angels

TWMH Trust has supported the Purple Angels Dementia Charity through grant funding and is also collaborating on two ongoing initiatives: The Purple Angel Music project and Dementia-Friendly Tarporley.

Purple Angel Music project

We have partnered with the Purple Angels charity to provide those living with dementia with free bespoke MP3 players. Each MP3 player will have a personalised selection of 15 favourite songs. Music benefits those living with dementia, with musical memories remaining accessible longer than others. We provide free players to both individuals and organisations.

Dementia-Friendly Tarporley

The Purple Angels Dementia Charity and TWMH Trust have worked together to create a dementia-friendly guide for local shops and businesses. Tarporley Independent Traders is a group of around 85 businesses who are participating in the initiative by implementing dementia-friendly practices, raising awareness and providing support to those living with dementia.
